Studio Canvas Panels are alternative surfaces for painting, which are made of hand primed pure cotton canvas glued to fiberboard. They have the properties of professional canvases and are good primed grounds for students and beginners.
Canvas Panels are very convenient for open air painting thanks to their light weight and small size. Prior to priming durable and elastic sizing is applied to canvases in order to prevent paint from penetrating. After sizing is applied, they are primed with a modern acrylic primer, which forms a durable and elastic white film once dry.
Canvas Panels primed with acrylic primer are perfect for oil and acrylic paints and also for oil pastels thanks to their hard base and textured surface.
